Olááá todos! This first week was so good! To start us off we had a miracle! A random kid passed us on the street (as people do) and then he stops in the middle of the sidewalk, looks at us. Stops for longer (thinking really hard) and he finally walks back to us and goes "are you guys mormon missionaries" I got so hyped to talkntl him haha His school is religion focused and they study a ton of religions. At one point he goes "you guys have temples right? And they have moroni on top?" I was like umm yeah!! Then he goes, do yall happen to have a Book of mormon that i can read? Oh my goodness. I was like "do we have a book of mormon?? We have a mountain of them!!" We got his number and scheduled a time to meet and as we were walking away he goes "is there a way I can study about your doctine, like a book that talks about mormon doctrine?"   Hello everyone!! I hope your week was legendary! So it's true! I got transfered to my second area here in brazil and I'm super stoked to get going! It's a smaller town (especially compared to joinville) but it still has lots of people that I'm sure are ready to hear the Gospel! I'm excited to start givin it to them! Last week was full of lessons and saying goodbye! In one of our last lessons we had a big talk about Authority and Priesthood and how important it is here on the earth today. When it got down to it, I finally felt like I should share my testimony and so i explained that i know Peter James and John gave the Priesthood to Joseph Smith and because of that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is the only church on earth with the authority to perform ordinances that bring us exaltation! Olááá!! How was your week?? Mine was everything short of exciting hahaha Quarantine as a missionary is thee worst thing haha After not leaving the house for 11 months when I started my mission, I was not prepared to go back to that haha But we made it work!! It was a lot of card games, in between calling our friends to teach a small lessons, and getting a TON of fruit from the members here hahaha Anddd cant forget the  that we were doing! For those that dont remember, the challenge was to read The bible, the Book of Mormon, The Doctrine and Covenants, with the Pearl of Great Price. Boy did we have our sights high haha It started out really good! We got the doctrine and Covenants read in one day!! But after reading scriptures for almost 11 hours with a few breaks we kinda went a little crazy haha Then that same day we also finished the Pearl of Great Price! Which was super cool! Then later I finished the Four Gospels from the New Testament along with Acts! From all that reading...

Yep you read that right haha I lasted so long! I have no idea where I got it from but I've definitely been infected haha We currently live with another set of elders and we are on strict mandate to not leave the house for 8 days. Now, being a missionary and all, being inside the house for 8 days is like a death sentence haha But we're gonna find ways to make it fun! We already all agreed on a challenge to read the Bible, the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price during these 8 days! We'll see if we can pull through haha Buttt other than Covid, we had such a great week!! To start off we had a mission tour with Elder Uceda!! Let me tell you that man is inspired. Hello Everyone! Happy New Year! Cant even believe its 2022.  I still feel like its 2020. Anyway. This week was tons of fun!! One of our friends has been veryyyy skeptical about accepting baptism although she LOVES the church. So that has been a struggle haha But this week something changed!! We finally got her to come to a sacrament meeting with us and she just had the best time. So we wanted to meet with her right after, andddd she said yes to baptism! The sacrament and church really changes people's lives. She said that she's going to keep reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it every day! She is so cool Haha Then yesterday we had another friend make their way to church! Me and my companion thought it would be good to share our testimonies and while my companion was sharing his I could see her crying a little bit :') the Spirit at church is so real! Hey Everyone!! Merry Christmas!! I hope it was a good one for you all! " For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given" -this actually happened in case you didn't know Because of Christmas it was a little bit slower buttt we focused on teaching a lot and it was so much fun!! One of our friends is sooo ready to be baptized. But she has some reservations about Joseph Smith. We've tried to help her in every way understand him better but it hasn't been working. So we finally had a lesson completely about the Book of Mormon. Then at the end, I decided it was time to promise some blessings to her. I felt prompted to say that if she read every day and prayed every day, with real intent, believing she could get an answer, that before January 8th she would get an answer that it is true and Joseph was a prophet! Heyyy Everyone!!! How was the week???  Little weather update for all of you: it's still hot. But I'm learning how to live with sweat dripping down my face haha  This week I've found out how much fun it is to use the bus!! Theres always like a million people and it's basically a game to try and not touch the other people while the bus driver forgets all traffic rules and just flies around the city haha Genuinely a place to find some good laughs haha  We had a member tell us of a friend that is super super interested in her ancestors and where she came from and so of course we as missionaries hopped on that real quick! We went to her house and immediately started testifying on the Plan of Salvation and where we came from and where we're going. But the coolest part, by far, was when we were explaining the Three Kingdoms of Glory. You could tell it was like nothing she had heard before.
