Week # 44. New Areaaaaa: Plymouth



Hello All! How are you sweet souls doing?

This week was kinda crazy! We walked out of nashua (almost cried) and started off to our new area! Quick miracle happened before we left! One of our last second lessons, our friend agreed to be baptized! I dont even care we dont get to be there, it makes me so excited she choosing to follow the example of Jesus Christ!

This week I was nervous about coming to our new area because I had gotten super comfortable in Nashua but I saw this quote that says "we cannot become what we want, by remaining what we are" I think that's so cool because missions are all about change. I know that the Lord has been with me. I found strength in this scripture from exodus where the Lord says "My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest." (Exodus 33:14) I know that the Savior is with us at all times! I hope you all find strength in that!

Something super cool is all the members here are the best! They are so willing to help with everything! I literally encourage all of you to help the missionaries in any way you can! It makes It so much easier for the missionaries to move forward the work of the Lord!

In my reading this week I found this scripture in Doctrine and Covenants section 130 that says
1 When the Savior shall appear we shall see him as he is. We shall see that he is a man like ourselves.
I'm so excited for the day the Savior comes! I know He lives and died for me and each one of you. Never forget He suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane for a moment, just for you. Never forget that. He loves you and Heavenly Father does too. They will not leave you comfort less. Keep going, you got this!

Week # 84. Other cities & conference!

Hello Everyone! This week we had some good experiences so we can just hop right in!  We found that some earlier sisters had worked in a smaller city outside the main city and we decided that we we're gonna go out there and give it a go! I'll just say that was the best decision ever haha we basically got to knock doors for 5 hours straight to a bunch of people that were super willing to hear about Jesus. At one point we got to a house where this lady was washing clothes so we went up, introduced ourselves and asked if we could come back another day because she was busy and she goes, no no! Please sit down! I could never turn away representatives of Christ. My mind was blown!!! Week # 90. Weddings & New Friends!

Olááá Everyone!! We had some miracles this week!! First and foremost, our convert who got baptized two weeks ago, brought his whole family to church!! We were so proud of him!! We immediately went over and talked with them all and our convert goes "so let's mark some lessons right now, and let's have at least two lessons a week." I was so excited!! Not one but two lessons this week!! Then the coolest thing, we got to give him the priesthood :') It really made me remember of when I got it back at 12 and I had so many feelings!! This church is so true!! With the couple that's always so apt to change, we had a stressful week!! So we needed to take them into the city building with like 20 documents for EACH of them so we can get them married! Some how, by a miracle from God, they didnt have any problems!! Week # 88. Three Separate Beings

Olá tudo mundo!! This week we taught a few more reinforcement lessons to our friends who are struggling with the word of wisdom, but these lessons were so good!! For one of our friends we talked about the vision of the tree of life. And when I shared what I thought, I talked about the verse that says: "And after they had tasted of the fruit they were ashamed, because of those that were scoffing at them; and they fell away into forbidden paths and were lost." So from that i talked about how it is the same with us! When we start to get a testimony of something, we learn that not following through with that thing is going down a forbidden path! And then that line "were lost". So SCARY! Basically I told him that now that he is gaining a testimony, he gets to have more blessings but live at a higher standard!
